it's so much work to keep up with this blog. it's worse than homework. i was going to put all my miles and workouts up from the past couple of months but i forgot to keep track of them. opps... well i figure i've been running between 60 and 75 miles a week or 50miles. took one week off (bum foot). ran pb's indoor and out, 8:27 3k, 14:49 5k indoors, 14:40 5k outdoor.

Last weekend was regional' in Waco, Texas. It was overall a good race, i ran almost a 1 minute PR on the course 30:59. Which in any other year besides 2010 would have been a top 10 performance. I finished 21st and missed making NCAA's by 18 seconds. The worst part of the race was the last 1200m where i got passed by 4 runners. But overall i'm happy because i got all-region again.

Im a bit late on posting this weeks miles. We had conference championships in bowling green. Kentucky. It was a tough course, pretty hilly. I felt good, ran hard over the last mile and passed 2 guys to finish 5th and 2nd on the team. As a team we won. it was legit. Oh and i was the first american to finish.

i turned 22 on oct. 11.. thats all ive got to say about that... chile pepper was big and fast as hell. I ran a 59 second PR, 30:34. I missed the school record by 2 seconds and got ripped on by way to many people, 41st, but overall it was great. As a team we got 7th, without 2 of are top 7. ive been having knee problems for a couple of weeks which has set me back a little in training. The good news is my knee didnt hurt in the race. And if anybody is reading this i got punched in the face by steve, we dont know his last name at this time.

So this weekend was are first 8k of the XC season and it was a fast one. I ended up running a 49 second PB in the 8k (24:21). I finished 5th overall. I really wanted to make a strong effort to run with the leaders but it went out to fast. As a team we ended up 2nd out of 30 teams. Beat some really good teams. Also got an interview with FLOtrack.

arkansas tech the first meet of the 2010 XC season. went pretty good. i got 2nd place overall 20:05, behind baranbaus "i dont know how to spell you damn name" kruri. beat his bro though. As a team we won. so that was good. It seems as if are team is alot stronger than last year. if was a run race. practice at 8am, so i better get to sleep. 16 in the morning.

Well it's always the same here in kansas. Brick roads. Thats all got as far as kansas goes. We had a race last weekend at Missouri Sourthern. It was an 8k. The race went pretty good i got 8th and had a pretty big PR with a 25:24. Plus i was the first american to finish. There was 3 kenyans,2 poland dudes, one guy from spain and a dude from finland.The Cowley XC team got 4th overall. Pretty good for a NJCAA school. Well thats all i got. I will try to put up some more later.

My cross bike is boomin now.It's like 8 years old, maybe 10, and it still bad ass, 19 pounds. It's all fixed and ready to rip it at Nationals. Now we have to find out if im ready to rip it. Nationals is December 15th in Kansas City, Kansas. It's pretty much gonna be a rock fest.

I got 8Th overall in the region and 4Th in the conference and was the first American. Time wise it was my second fastest race, but i should be 30 to 45 seconds faster. i just haven't had a great race this season. Nationals is in like 10 days or something so we will see. If i ball it there i could the top American in NJCAA. As for the rest of the team they all balled it, Daniel finished 2Nd at the at the line and stanly got 4Th and Mo got 11Th and Brett rounded out the top five with a 16Th place finish.

The race tomorrow. It's an 8k on are home course which i know better than the back of my hand, but it's regionals. What this means is it's gonna be hard as HELL, and i don't think Cowley has ever won cross country regionals before. Going into the race we are the ones to beat. Are team is ranked 5th in NJCAA right now, but we are alot better than that. I have'nt broken 26 minutes yet in the 8k so thats what im shooting for.
